The potential of European start-ups as engines for growth, job creation and innovation and technology transfer is undisputed, especially in the ICT industry. But major bottlenecks threaten to hold back that growth. An increasing number of new businesses are started every year, everywhere in Europe, but only few have been able to grow and go global. Why? Because starting-up is easier than ever, but scaling is not.
The objective of this workshop is to actualize several key recommendations of the European Union’s Startup Manifesto, supporting the growth and sustainability of European startups able to compete and raise funds at an international and global level, to bring innovation and economic growth back to Europe.
