Digital economy is much more than a new business sector: it represents a totally new paradigm, which has already been called “the third industrial revolution”.  This digital revolution is having a significant impact on all industries, not just ICT, while making profound changes to society. How can European policy makers support disruptive innovation processes and seize the opportunities of this change of paradigm? What could be the role of public policies on innovation? The workshop wants to share bold visions on how Europe can take the lead of the new economy in the global scenario.
